Garden After Fire
This garden captures the resilience of life emerging from the ashes of
forests devastated by wildfires in Korea.
From the corridor of the K Beauty Garden, visitors look upon the
southern slopes, where the first wildflowers to bloom after a fire
represent nature’s initial step toward recovery. The planting scheme is
authentically curated, featuring the specific wildflower species that
were observed blooming at Korean wildfire sites in 2025.
Complementing this natural rebirth is the Sleeping Fox Pavilion.
Dedicated to the animals lost in these fires, the pavilion serves as a
space for apology and respect. It offers a quiet reminder that nature
is a shared home where humans and all living creatures must coexist
in harmony.

Garden After Fire — 재의 정원
이 정원은 한국 산불로 인해 불탄 숲에서 재 위에 다시 시작되는 생명을 보여주는
공간입니다.
K Beauty Garden 회랑에서 바라보는 남측 언덕에는 산불 이후 가장 먼저
피어나는 야생화를 통해 파괴된 숲이 회복될 때 나타나는 자연의 첫 순간을
표현합니다. 정원의 식재는 2025년 한국 산불 현장에서 실제로 개화한
야생화들을 기반으로 구성됩니다.
동시에 산불로 희생된 동물들에 대한 미안함과 존중을 담은 Sleeping Fox
Pavilion은 자연이 인간과 다른 생명들이 공존하는 터전임을 조용히 환기시키는
장소입니다.
